The connection built during this POETRAIT turned into a bond of friendship. After completion, Cubs and Nic(o) attended a Basquiat show together in New York, and the two continue to collaborate in resonance - Nic(o) supporting Cubs' artistic evolution, and Cubs looking to Nic(o) as an ongoing source of inspiration.
