Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Cubs finds inspiration and resonance in the Louisiana state bird. His hope is to one day push a redesign of the official state flag - currently portraying a white pelican when
in fact the state bird is brown. The three pelican chicks represent CULTURE, LOVE, and VULNERABILITY.
